Welcome to my website
I'm M-E Girard and I write young adult fiction.
I'm a feminist. It's not a dirty word.
My debut novel Girl Mans Up is due out in 2016, by Katherine Tegen Books/HarperCollins.
When I'm not writing, I'm working, or playing video games, or watching movies, or reading, or picking up chihuahua poo.
That's me. I write stuff.

March 13, 2015 - Muskoka Novel Marathon 2015
I have scored a spot at this year's Muskoka Novel Marathon, in ridiculously beautiful Huntsville, Ontario! In July 2015, along with 39 other writers, I will be writing like a maniac for 72hrs, all in an effort to raise money for literacy. Read more about it here! And if you support me with a pledge, you get to name one of my characters!
January 11, 2015 - No more Tumblr
I've decided to delete my Tumblr account (I wasn't really using it). I'm still on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram!
